Aidoo KNX
With the Aidoo KNX Integration Gateway, air conditioning units from manufacturers Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy, and Toshiba can be seamlessly integrated into your smart home system. No adapter or external power supply is required to connect the air conditioning system to the Aidoo KNX – the gateway is directly powered through the KNX bus. the air conditioning system to the Aidoo KNX – the gateway is directly powered through the KNX bus. Subsequently, your chosen air conditioning unit can be easily controlled through the YOUVI visualisation, the logic module or other KNX-compatible applications.

The solution for integrating air conditioning systems into KNX systems
Aidoo KNX has been developed in collaboration with numerous manufacturers to enable easy and seamless integration of various air conditioning systems into building automation. KNX certification ensures compatibility with the KNX standard.
Reliable communication
The connection to the air conditioning unit is made via cables, enabling reliable bidirectional communication between the two devices. This allows not only the transmission of commands to the inverter/VRF devices but also the receipt of feedback on executed actions and information on the current states of the air conditioning unit. Additionally, Aidoo KNX provides a mechanism for error detection, allowing real-time identification of any potential issues or malfunctions.
Functions
- Seamlessly integrates air conditioning units from manufacturers Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy, and Toshiba into your smart home system
- Control of key system parameters, such as "on/off", "mode", "set temperature" or "fan speed" through KNX.
- Three configurable digital inputs for the automation of actions
- Configurable via ETS
- Status feedback and error indication as text
Plug-and-play
The versatile gateway also offers the advantage that neither an adapter nor an external power supply is required for operation and integration. Thus, it can be easily and cost-effectively integrated into the existing infrastructure without the need for additional hardware components.
Independent operation
All elements of the original air conditioning control are retained and can continue to be used for operation. This ensures seamless operation with extended functionality.
