On 3rd February 2025, the new Gira Experience Center was opened at Helix Salzburg, a premium workspace with modern rental spaces. Our product manager from Austria attended the opening ceremony in Salzburg, explored the new premises, and exchanged ideas with local contacts.
New central location for Gira in Austria
Until now, Gira had no permanent location in Austria. With the new showroom, a central point of contact has been established for customers and partners. In the future, "A day with Gira" events will be held here, allowing visitors to experience the possibilities of modern building control firsthand. Additionally, the Experience Center will serve as a new base for supporting customers from Austria, Switzerland, and Italy.
A successful opening ceremony
After the official opening of the Experience Center by Gira Managing Director Alfred Mölzer and Sales Engineer Alexander Peer, guests were given a tour of the exhibition, which features themed rooms such as a bedroom, bathroom, and living area. The focus was on various smart control solutions, particularly lighting control. Afterwards, attendees had the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with the project partners whose products and trades are showcased in the new showroom.
PEAKnx panels integrated into the showroom
We are especially pleased that our Controlpro and Control 12 touch panels are part of Gira’s exhibition. The Control 12 is integrated into a demo wall at the showroom entrance, while the Controlpro is used for central control in the main exhibition area. Although control can be managed flexibly via tablets, the primary central control is handled through our panels. This allows visitors to experience and test the seamless integration of PEAKnx touch panels in a modern smart home environment firsthand. The showroom’s organisation was overseen by Alexander Peer, who, together with our product manager, also boosted the integration of our panels.
A step towards the future
With the new Experience C, Gira has taken an important step in strengthening its presence in Austria and neighbouring countries. We are proud to be part of this project and thank Gira for their trust in our products.
