The repV field service management software supports service technicians and service providers as well as workshops in planning and coordinating their processes around maintenance, servicing and repair. Since 2001, employees of the former PEAK Service Ltd. have developed the repV software, initially to satisfy their own needs, in order to better coordinate and improve their work processes. After the solution had proven its credentials, the software was later further developed under PEAK Networks Ltd. and offered to other companies as an innovative product and individual solution. In addition, a Sage development partnership has been established for a long time and extensive know-how for the integration of a repV extension into the modular ERP system Sage 100 has been developed.
In 2021, PEAK-Networks became part of PEAKnx Ltd. and the repair management software repV and related services have since been distributed by PEAKnx. With their specific solutions, the software and services continued to contribute to great customer satisfaction.
Transfer of repV to DESK Ltd.
As a provider of building automation solutions, PEAKnx would like to focus their work completely to the smart home sector in the future. Therefore, the decision was made at the end of 2022 to disengage from the service management division and to hand it over to DESK GmbH in spring 2023.
PEAKnx Managing Director Lorenz Rohrmann: „The decision to part with repV was a logical consequence and, following the change of name of the former PEAK Networks GmbH to PEAKnx GmbH in 2021, a further step towards focusing on our smart home technologies. Sascha Breithecker from DESK was the first person I thought of after we decided to sell the repV software.“
DESK Ltd. has maintained a close relationship with PEAK for over 20 years. As a reliable partner, DESK supports over 500 customers and offers around 50 of its own Sage solutions. DESK is a Sage platinum partner and a member of the Sage Partner Advisory Board. Therefore, 31 employees exclusively work for Sage.
Sascha Breithecker, Managing Director of DESK GmbH says about the transfer: „When PEAK offered us the repV division, it didn't take us long to make a decision. The functions of repV complement our portfolio and perfectly round off our product range.“
After the takeover by DESK repV customers will continue to receive comprehensive individual support and PEAKnx will also continue to be available for advice for a period of 2 years.
